Operating essentials and safety techniques of lifting mechanism

The operation quality of the lifting mechanism of the bridge crane is the key to ensure the safety of the bridge crane. Therefore, the overhead crane driver must not only master the operation essentials of the lifting mechanism, but also master its safety technology. The specific requirements are as follows:

1. Align the hook.Every time you lift an object, align the hook head with the center of gravity of the object being lifted, or correctly estimate the mass and center of gravity of the object being lifted, and then adjust the hook to the appropriate position. Align the hook left and right. According to the left and right deflection of the wire rope after the hook head hangs the object, move the trolley left and right to align the hook head with the center of gravity of the object. Align the hook front and back. Because the hook and wire rope are in front of the driver, the deflection of the wire rope is not easy to see. Therefore, the hook head should be lifted slowly after hanging the object. Then, according to the different tightness of the rope buckles on the front and back sides of the object, move the trolley in the front and back directions to make the tightness of the rope buckles on the front and back sides consistent, that is, align the hook front and back.

2. Smooth lifting. After the wire rope is straightened, the lifting object, lifting equipment and surrounding environment should be checked before lifting. During the lifting process, the object should be lifted at a low speed first. When the object is free from the surrounding obstacles, the handle should be pushed to the fastest gear one by one to lift the object at the fastest speed. It is forbidden to push the gear quickly or start suddenly to avoid the lifting object colliding with the surrounding personnel and equipment, and breaking the wire rope, causing personal or equipment accidents.

3. After the object is lifted. Generally, the lifting height is within its lifting range, half a meter higher than the highest obstacle on the ground. Then drive the trolley to the lifting channel and then lift it along the lifting channel. It is not allowed to pass over the ground personnel and equipment to prevent accidents. When the lifting object needs to pass over the position where the ground personnel are standing, a signal should be issued, and the ground personnel can pass after they have moved away.

4. During work, it is not allowed to use the limit switches as stop buttons to cut off the power supply, and it is not allowed to pull down the switch to cut off the power supply when the motor is running (under load).

5. Parking of objects. When the objects are hoisted to the place where they should be parked, they should be lowered after reaching the predetermined parking point. When lowering, the appropriate descending speed should be selected according to the height of the objects from the landing point. And when the objects are lowered close to the ground, the lifting mechanism should continue to be operated to slowly lower them to the ground. Do not lower them too fast or too hard. When the objects are placed on the ground, do not drop the rope and unhook them immediately. You can only drop the rope and unhook them after confirming that the objects are stable and the ground commander has issued a signal to drop the rope and unhook them.
