1. Lifting mechanism
The main and auxiliary lifting mechanisms of the gantry crane are composed of (variable frequency) motors, brakes, reduction gears, drums, etc. A limit switch is installed at the end of the drum shaft to limit the lifting height and depth. When the limit is moved in one direction, the lifting can only move in the opposite direction of the limit. There is also a limit switch for frequency conversion control lifting before the end point is automatically decelerated before the end point limit switch is activated.
2. Luffing mechanism
The luffing mechanism of the gantry crane is divided into single-arm wire rope luffing. To ensure safety, two sets of brakes are used, each of which can support the boom. The luffing mechanism is equipped with an end point switch, which quickly terminates the drive in the direction of movement once it is activated. There is also a limit switch for frequency conversion control luffing before the end point is automatically decelerated before the end point limit switch is activated.
3. Rotating mechanism
The rotating mechanism drive part of the gantry crane is arranged vertically, with foot brakes and manual brakes. When the crane is not in operation, the boom should be placed at a medium-large amplitude.
4. Traveling mechanism
The active trolley and the driven trolley of the gantry crane are connected by a balance beam. The driving device of the active trolley consists of an electric motor, a brake, a reducer and an open gear. The legs of the symmetrical track are equipped with anti-typhoon anchoring cable devices. When a typhoon alarm sounds, the crane should be moved to the anchoring position on the dock and the windproof cable should be tightened. And the boom should be laid down and put aside.
5. Overload limiter
The overload limiter display device, wind speed display and warning are installed in the driver's cab, which can realize amplitude limit protection, overload protection and over-wind speed alarm. The overload is 90% warning and the lifting load reaches 100% of the rated load. When the lifting load exceeds 110% of the rated load, the safety protection device will work, the cargo can only be lowered but not raised, and the slewing and luffing mechanisms cannot move.
6. Emergency stop button
The power supply is sent to the central power receiver through the cable drum device and then to the main circuit breaker, and then to the main contactor. The main circuit breaker is used for short-circuit protection and overload protection of the main circuit. In an emergency, press the emergency stop button to make the main contactor cut off the power supply.
